I dug one of my old GBA SPs out of storage recently, and after acquiring a charger, which somehow also had an end that fit my 3DS XL, I found out it still works. :D Anyway, I lost most of my games, and I know it's hard to find non-counterfeit carts on eBay, so I figured I may as well pick up a flashcart and load it up with some roms.

What models do you recommend, and what's a reputable place to buy them from, preferably located in Canada? I already checked eBay to no avail.

I have googled it, but it's hard to find good information since most of the sites that sell them seem kinda sketchy.

The entire industry is sketchy. In my experience, though, there are many worse industries to get into. I've bought a few DS flash carts before and it seems like the flash cart manufacturers sell them wholesale to the websites that sell them. That being said, if you can find the name of a flash cart (like the EZ flash, or the SuperCard) then use that to find the site of the manufacturer(such as http://eng.supercard.sc/), you can see their "dealers" pages.

Counterfeit cards are a bit of a problem in this industry, though, so if you want to mitigate that to some degree you should only buy from the manufacturers authorized dealers (unless you don't mind bootleg bootlegs :P)

Or you could try to make your own...

One final note: Most flash cart sites require you use a Visa card, because of PayPal and MasterCard's restrictions on the sale of such things.

Thanks for the info. :D I wonder if there are any flashcard resellers that accept bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. I'd rather buy some of those and use them to pay for the flashcarts, instead of handing over my CC info. :P
