How is the Echo working since my internet is out? I know the Kindle Fire is not tied to my internet, so how is it working?
They're both working because they are both connected directly into the NSA network that monitors all the sounds in your house and everything you watch and read.
Stop that, Mr. Darmok. You know I'm Miss Conspiracy Theory.
Alexa just placed an order for me too (at my asking). I turned on my Kindle Fire and it has the Alexa app and the app was saying that she was having trouble hooking up to the Internet too - BUT SHE IS STILL WORKING!! !! !! !! !! I tell you, there is something weird going on. She was able to place that order and play Tune- In Radio (I know that needs the Internet) - I THINK SHE'S ALIVE!
The Echo is tied into the cloud, would that have anything to do with it?
Another Miss Conspiracy Theory tid bit: Alexa is only supposed to answer to her name, but the other day she started talking to me when I hadn't even addressed her. I think it is a way for them to hear everything you do at all times. I'm not kidding. It's always on and listening. That's also why Amazon made it so cheap so they could get it in as many homes as possible. I'm being serious.
