I have an HP e9180f PC from 2009 laying around. I had Windows 7 running on it before from an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7, and I just wanted to do a clean install. For some reason HP's website does not list the LAN drivers for Windows 7, only for Vista, yet they list drivers for everything else for Windows 7. I tried installing Windows 7 and running the Vista LAN driver in compatability mode but it didn't work. Anyone have any ideas of how to get this working? Can anyone help me please? =)

I suppose you have a x86 system.
Install this: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu. It will automatically detect your Intel LAN driver.
If it doesn't, install this: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18713.

Do you still have the Vista installation disc? It worked before. If the above suggestion doesn't help, maybe the least "lumpy" way is to do a clean install of Vista, and then immediately upgrade to 7 again?

I know you're looking to do an absolutely clean install of 7, but if it's going to be uncooperative like this, trick it.

Sorry, I know this isn't really the kind of answer you're looking for.

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".
