I'm looking for a good messenger that I can use to start a role playing session with some friends. Do you guys happen to come across any messenger that don't require too much stuff to do and its really easy to get into?

Please let me know.

if you want to roleplay, try roll20.net
that one has a text/voice messenger, but integrates dicerollers as well as maps/battlemats and tokens.
It was set up specifically with roleplaying over the internet as a goal, and offers everything a kitchen table has, free of charge (well, ad-supported); a small fee can get you even more options.
