Fitting a new USB/audio port module in an old floppy bay?
I'm building a new computer in an old tower that originally had (and still does...for now) an old floppy drive.
I've just found on Amazon some modules meant to fit in old floppy bays that will give you more USB ports, audio ports, and a few other things. (There are different modules you can buy.)
Thing is, they describe the floppy bays as "3.5 inch".
I've measured the floppy drive currently in the tower from left to right, and it measures just about 4 inches.
Are they talking about the same thing? If so, why are they cutting a whole half-inch off in the description?
It's GOT to be the same thing, since old [smaller] floppy discs wouldn't even fit into an opening 3.5 inches wide! Why are they calling it 3.5 instead of 4?
EDIT:
Uh.... I think I just figured it out.
Is the "3.5 inch" measurement meant to describe the old small floppy discs themselves, and not the drive meant for those floppy discs? I think so, and I'm feeling really stupid now.

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".
