If he's done both...and he well may be the only doctor who is documented as having done so...why can we only choose one? Clearly they are exactly *equally* likely!

(I'm being silly, btw. Did people simply bring animals into the human-hospital ER?)

There should be a 3rd option "listen to their patients" which would be the most unusual out of the three.
