And not sites that teach you crap like embedding it in a page, or VBS.NET. The real code you put into Notepad is what I'm looking for.

Have you ever typed VBS into google? If you do, it comes up with interesting stuff. When I did it, google came up with Vacation Bible School. Rad!

VBS is a microsoft thing, right?

VBA is similar to VBS and comes with Excel. I learned both VBA and VBS from downloading samples and playing with them. That's also the approach I did with QB Basic and GW Basic.

With the advent of Google it is quite easy, simply type in: "[insert programming language] tutorial" and take your pick.

Microsoft wuold be a start, if you're rich...;) There are all sorts of places that teach it; anything that teaches credit courses online should have it. Try NetG.

The trick is to have the actual compiler for it as well. Last time I saw a version, it came on several CDs.

Try finding VBScripting tutorials on Google. You can also find a wealth of information on Microsoft Technet.

Also try finding books online about VBScripting and looking at them on google books. Thats how I learned and I'm A+ Certified, Microsoft Networking Certified & going for Visual Basic certification.
