what i use is rubbing alcohol on a lint free cloth, wipe onto lcd screen then dry immediatly with a dry cloth to prevent smears and streaks. i have been doing this ever since the first flat panel lcd monitor, idea works great and really cleans off things like fingerprints and even bug guts,

I think it is possible to buy screen cleaning wipes from an electronics retailer or a computer store, they should work to clean an LCD

Speaking of LCD cleaning, my laptop's screen is in need of a clean, don't think I cleaned it since fitting a new screen to it in September

Rubbing alcohol is cheap, dilute with water.....before you buy any expensive product, look at the ingredients. They are charging people several dollars for something that costs pennies to make yourself.I just use plan water...how did bugs get on your screen? Are you talking about a car windshield or were you holding a computer out the car window while driving fast to cool it off.OK,now I have just confused myself.

Krex knows the deal. I buy it, but I'm lazy. I do use what is called a micro cloth, even though something like flannel feels very soft a micro cloth is the way I've heard to go. They can also be washed. Prepackaged cleaning wipes are a waste of money.
