Sense of Agency and ASD

I'm in the middle of reading this. Sadly there's a lot of jargon (there always is!) but if you can muddle through it it seems to be suggesting a model that I perceive could explain my day-to-day issues I've had since becoming an adult.
efferent = incoming
afferent = outgoing

Yes, lots of jargon. Some of the studies are explained in plain language though. You said that you can relate this academic analysis to your own experience. How? I mean, I get how we make determinations of our control, or lack thereof, based on how predictable the outcomes of our actions are. I don't get the part about someone having impaired prospective agency. What would that even feel like, in someone who doesn't lack physical sensation of their physical actions? If they're not paralyzed, why wouldn't they be aware of deciding to act, and why wouldn't they feel that action? I suppose emotions could get in the way of these perceptions, as could any sort of processing disorder, but the study doesn't indicate whether or not these factors exist.
