Is this recursive?

I was screwing around with my computer and my camera. This image required three photographs:
1) Pluto as the background image
2) Photograph of computer with Pluto background image
3) Photograph of computer with photo 2 as background image

As a bonus:
4) photo 3 is my background image. There are three keyboards in my field of view when I use my computer.

I believe it would be considered so. In programming, a recursive function is one that calls itself in a repeated fashion. Now make this picture your desktop wallpaper and take another picture and repeat!

In fact, thanks to exponential growth, in a manageable number of iterations, the original wallpaper will be shrunk to less than a pixel, thus making the picture look like it recurses ad infinitum.

LOL, I love the idea of having my computer desktop, i.e. wallpaper, and my real desktop looking nearly the same. Makes me laugh every time I look at my computer.

And so is the third image.....

The image can be described as a self-referential object
