Can anyone find anything general about this topic? It seems 'dry' out there with research, there either isn't much or what there is is specific and so not possible to apply generally (e.g. this thing with some cinnamon flavour compromising the immune system... but really? I eat cinnamon, not inhale it...) - I don't know how they can even do research with flavours, since there's so many and people will inevitably do many. I'm more interested in a raw vape, with buds and no liquids...

Lumping vapes with smoking is useless when the latter is so much more obviously damaging, but I don't suppose even vape is totally non-irritant, as the quantity inhaled can also induce coughing, but does that mean a low temperature and smaller quantities are safe? And even then, what are its effects on cytokines?

I was thinking more of cannabis, though, nicotine is just too specific to generalize...

Vaporize dried cannabis instead of using liquid cartridges. Cannabis has its own natural flavors unique to each strain, no need to add artificial flavours and you won't have to worry about exposing your lungs to various solvents or crap like vitamin E. Vaporizing dried cannabis also has the advantage of being cheaper than using liquid cartridges.

It's what I do, but I still suspect that non-liquid vape irritates the lungs to some extent.
