You take a piece of paper and fold in half along the long edge and then fold one of the corners in so that the corner is on the line folding the other corner so that it turns from a ninety degree angle to a thirty and sixty degree angle then fold the other side against the first one 
This works because the three lines are obviously 180 degrees you can divide into thirds which is 60 degrees and this is mirrored which makes the inner triangle sixty degrees all a round
