Anyone own a Nintendo Wii? I am thinking of getting one, I have not played with one yet. Can anyone tell me what they are like, are they worth the money. Some of the games looks fun

Wii console and one game here is 250€.

I would get a wii if stores were selling them.

If you can find a system, go for it. The controls aren't too intrusive in, say, Zelda. I haven't heard much good about any third party titles. Also, you should wait for games like Smash Bros, Metroid, and Mario Galaxy to come out. They're scheduled for release by the end of 2007 in Japan, but nothing's confirmed for the North America or Europe.

Well today I got my Wii, I love it

So far I only have the sports game, but it's fun. I can't wait to get some more games. Instead of sitting down on my ass playing video games, I can stand up and move around thus getting some exercise! Yay for Wii.

My brohter has a Nintendo Wii downstairs which I love. I'm getting my own for my birthday as well soon. That will be good.

They're good fun, I think. I don't have one, but I know a few people that do and I've gotten to try them out.

The only thing is that you should stay away from any third-party cross-platform games. They're generally not made for Wii so they're kinda half-assed. Like, I played Dragonball Z Tenkaichi Budokai 2 and it's awful. However, I played Twilight Princess and it plays well even though it's also on Gamecube, but I think that's because it's a Nintendo game.

I definitely plan to get one at some point.

Yeah, I will try and stay away from the third party games. It's funny, my dad of 54 was actually playing it lol...

I always thought I was a Zelda Fan, from the very first one in the old NES, followed by Zelda II, Link's past in SNES, etc., loved them all, or so I thought.

Some cousins got one and we played together in my grandma's house, they had Zelda and the Wii sports game.... I didn't touch Zelda the whole time, I just fell in love with Wii Sports.

Super Paper Mario is a blast.

I want one but they are always sold out and the jerks at EB games have no idea when they are shipped in.

Im addicted to super paper mario still ! Had this dream of a 30 minute wii sports workout every day but I get drawn back into mario as soon as I get home from work :/

I have a Wii, but I never use it. Zelda was fun, but got boring after a while. The sports games were kinda fun, but they didnt really hold my interest for all that long.

And so, since I can't afford to spend much money on games at the moment, it sits unused.
