a new Curt Jaimungal interview, this time with Michael Levin. I remember him from a Big Think interview where he got into a whole non-neurological, non-genetic system of information in the body which I don't think I've heard discussed much of anywhere else and he was speaking in that interview about how developmental morphology has much more to do with what's going on at this level than with genes in particular (or at least if the genes confine a set of boundaries it's a very quick way to achieve profound results - such as two-headed flatworms, even across generations - without direct genetic tampering).
