I didn't know whether or not to post this on the Music and Arts section, but I figured that there were more references to mp3s than actual music. :)

Are any of you nuts about iPods? I am. I have six of them, [well, not iPods, but 6 mp3 players including iPods] and have yet to have all my music on them! I have over 30,000 songs and love collecting mp3s and players. I listen to anything!

So who is a music and tech buff like me? Tell me about your favorite music. :)

J

Which is your favorite, Cyrano?

I will buy one in a few months, probably. Though everything will be different by then I expect.

Right now I'm in love with my Creative ZenV, although I wish it had a bit more space, because it only fits 500 songs. :( However, I like the fact that it has a full-color display, so I can set Che Guevara as my background picture. :)

Ive got a 5th gen video ipod (30gb) and its kept me sane since I bought it! only got about 10 albums on there though , the rest is podcasts Im a total information junkie.

I had an Iriver before that and a few small solid state players prior to that...I'll trade up once Apple bring out an ipod with 80gb capacity that has wireless networking!

I've been using a tiny MuVo 1GB MP3-player for a long time, though my new cellphone has MP3 functionality as well, so now I use that rather than carry both the MuVo and cellphone around, each with their own headsets...

I have an IPod Video 30GB. I have 992 songs on it along with the Happy Tree Friends podcast.

I have all my music encoded in ogg vorbis and flac. So I need an mp3 player to play those formats... my pickings are slim.

But I've been thinking about just picking up the redesigned psp and using that as an mp3 player. I will have to encode all my music into mp3... that'll be a hassle...

I don't really care for the ipod, they never have the features I want... and I can usually find a better mp3 player for the money.

Ogg files work on the GP2X, but problem with ogg files is they consume more battery power than mp3s.

I currently have a iPod Video 30gb.

But it's on the blink and my 1 year warranty's expired. :(

No matter :D

Down my local Lidl's there's an even better MP3 30GB Player going for £50. :D

It's called a Toshiba Targa, and that'll do me fine.

Try finding massive storage MP3 Players that are not iPods, that way, you won't have to spend alot of money. ;)

I've got a 4gig Sansa...
In my opinion, the only thing the Ipod has going for it is the bandwagon effect, which is why they charge so much for something that can do much more 8O
Also, I've still got a ton of space left on my Sansa, like, I've only used a little over a gig so far :)
