The Asperger Technical website is a well designed example of using XHTML, CSS, and a bit of PHP. The styling is implemented entirely within one CSS. The main site contains the logo and the menu, and content pages are in the form of headerless XHTML files.
Source code is available from Asperger Technical on request.

Close, but no cigar...
Well, actually, take a cigar anyway...
Your only fail on the WAI test is
not identifying the document language, which is impressive!
Your use of three "moz-background" properties in the CSS is probably unavoidable? That's the only CSS failures, but I wonder if it doesn't somewhat imply you shouldn't show it as W3C CSS compliant? NB. You also have three warnings for FG/BG colours the same, on lines 56, 197 and 248.
Do you use "Web Developer"? It's nice to do quick checks on your pages.
PS. I wonder why you think having all the styling in one CSS file is important?
PPS. I've worked in Fareham, for Meggitt Avionics.
