Is is ok if I say that your site...: http://www.deadlyplanet.net/ needs to get rid of most of the apostrophes before the 's's ? They are not possessives. Don't want to hurt your feelings...but thought I'd just mention it.

I have an editing site: www.word-magic.net and also a dog training web site. I love editing...and am good at it. Gosh, now I do hope I haven't made any errors here!

Server box running at my home connection, the page is not really designed, and contains nothing of value :D

And here's my blog: http://gameboygenius.8bitcollective.com/

The Asperger Technical website is a well designed example of using XHTML, CSS, and a bit of PHP. The styling is implemented entirely within one CSS. The main site contains the logo and the menu, and content pages are in the form of headerless XHTML files.

Source code is available from Asperger Technical on request.

Close, but no cigar...

Well, actually, take a cigar anyway...

Your only fail on the WAI test is not identifying the document language, which is impressive!

Your use of three "moz-background" properties in the CSS is probably unavoidable? That's the only CSS failures, but I wonder if it doesn't somewhat imply you shouldn't show it as W3C CSS compliant? NB. You also have three warnings for FG/BG colours the same, on lines 56, 197 and 248.

Do you use "Web Developer"? It's nice to do quick checks on your pages.

PS. I wonder why you think having all the styling in one CSS file is important?

PPS. I've worked in Fareham, for Meggitt Avionics.

COMET: One thing you do is annoying me. Please stop using an apostrophe before the s for plural and for verbs. Website's should be websites, own's should owns, and so on.

nitro2k01, you forgot to mention... the possessive of "they" is "their". Also, punctuation and capitalisation are not optional (if you wish to be comprehensible). (And, should there be a space after a diæresis? Before?)

Also, people don't (often) own websites (I do, occasionally, in the sense that I host them here, on this machine. OTOH do own my own domains.)

On here, I don't (often) complain about bad writing, because it's just not that important. However, if someone then publishes on a website, they'd better get it all proof read. Most of what goes on forums is ephemeral, so it's more acceptable to let the odd mistake stand. On a website, you are seeking immortality, so try to make it make sense.
