I run windows xp on my macbook with bootcamp.

I have qt7 player and I went and paid for pro and received my key.

I entered the key two different ways and I'm still not getting pro on my computer.

method 1 - the online instruction method: I open START>Control Panel>Settings (I find the quicktime file)>Preferences>Register>paste in the key and click APPLY.
Nothing happens except that QUCKTIMEPRO 7 appears at the bottom of the window.

method 2: I go into quicktime>preferences.... basically imitating the above steps but doing it through quicktime instead of through windows.
Nothing happens.

Anyone know what's going on or something I should try?
Anyone know how I can get my questions through to Apple and get an answer back?
Thanks

Try downloading a torrent of it.

Shouldn't need a torrent, download the latest version from apple then enter your key, if that doesn't work then get ahold of the sales people and tell them the key you got isn't working.

Order a QuickTime Pro CD from Macintosh. Sometimes registration can be tricky on unregistred software.

I purchased two keys for QT pro, accidently.

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong.
First, I thought my icon for QT Player would change to QTPro7.
When it didn't, I suspected the registration did not happen.
I went through the purchase process again because I figured I screwed up and never got a real key the first time... no need to discuss that issue... it's just the way my brain works sometimes... or doesn't

All's well for now, except that I have a key for QTPro7 that I hope I can change from a windows app to a macosx app.
