I would say Flash if you want it quick and easy. Director could be used for 3D but Macromedia is the spawn of the devil and would most likely eat your head :twisted:

flash you can make a crappy one but animation shop works fine get that!

flash seems unnecessary for a simple animation like the emoticons on this forum.... perhaps the author could clarify what kind of animation he's trying to create? 8O
