Q: Where do you find Vista?
A: In the dictionary between virus and vomit.

Get Ubuntu, and quit your blubbering. It comes with its own set of headaches, but it's not as intentionally, willfully evil as Vista or any version of XP. I've been running it for two years on a ten year old machine, and it's very rarely crashed even though I leave the thing on constantly, have removed the computer's protective case, never clean it, and perform repairs on things by striking them with my fist. When I got my brand new Windows Vista laptop, I found that the old, ill-used piece of equipment that is covered in dust and shows graphics in far-out colors that remind me of a Salvia 40 trip crashed less often than the newer machine. Having converted it over to Ubuntu, however, I have finally discovered what a marvelous joy it is to operate a machine for months without turning it off. I have only once thrown it across the room! AMAZING! When I have finally gotten drunk and gone out in the backyard to use my Vaio as a frisbee, I'm going to be getting a computer that has Ubuntu preinstalled. And creating an extra partition for Sabayon.

Never heard of Sabayon? Figures you wouldn't have.

I have Ubuntu on my laptop in its own partition. My computer is dual boot, XP in one partition and Linux in the other.
I have heard of Sabayon and I'm considering it for my desk computer as soon as I can find a driver for my WiFi
that has a Broadcom chipset.

http://www.linux-watch.com/news/NS3690656353.html <- suggests that Broadcom WiFi has been supported for well over a year? Being built-in should mean it just works.
