Just wondered if anyone here is having problems with yahoo?

I can't receive email from anyone other than Yahoo users. I've checked my filter and block address list - no problems there.

I've send 4 or 5 emails to Yahoo who send me only automated responses.
I managed to speak to someone on their customer service LiveChat and they said that it was not yahoo's fault (even though the only test they did was to send me an email from another Yahoo account!)

So I have now been told to email every email domain I can think of at their postmaster@ address to report the problem.

I can't help thinking the problem is just with Yahoo and no-one else.

Anyone else got this problem or have any ideas how to fix it?

I tried Yahoo answers and some person unhelpfully told me to switch to one of the othe providers. Well, firstly, I've had no problems with Yahoo for years so I am reluctant to swap at this early stage and secondly, what about all the emails I have been sent over the last month but never received? I would still like to receive these, regardless of whether or not I choose to set up an account with an alternative provider in the future.

Sorry, I've finished ranting now. If anyone has any similar problems or any ideas, let me know!

Its probaly because yahoo doesn`t have access to a lot of domains. I get the same problems when trying to email anybody on the Department Of Defense network.[Grade School Teachers.] If you want to email anybody on a domain Yahoo doesn`t have access to use Mozilla Thunderbird or Gmail. A lot of times it works a lot better with Gmail and Thunderbird.

Yes, I have had problems with yahoo's e-mail program...but not before they made it "new and improved." I tried to contact them and I did manage to find a page with a form to fill out requesting help. They did reply but I couldn't reply back because they didn't give me an e-mail address to reply to!

I got fed up with it and quit using it. I tried to make it work for weeks and noticed how unreliable it has become. Maybe it works for other people, but it doesn't for me. Some links they have got buried behind tabs and that I know is nothing I can fix. Personally, I think my problems with yahoo are because I have high-powered protection programs that block much of the crap yahoo tries to dump on my pc.

Something good about yahoo email is that you can send .exe files.
