Glad to hear you've been enjoying your new system.
Regarding Vista, whatever floats your boat is fine. When I got my computer I had to go to a bit of trouble to get my hands on XP instead of Vista, as that was all that most shops had. I ended up getting it from our local computer store, for more than it would've cost to get Vista. Bear in mind this wasn't a system Vista would've struggled on, it's a 3Ghz Core 2 Duo with 2GB RAM and an 8800GT video card. I just prefer the extra speed, compatibility and ease of use of XP over Vista. By ease of use I mean it has to be something my whole family can use.
dont feel bad, vista, xp and win 2000 pro here, the 2000 pro my dad asks questions sometimes, win xp is my laptop and win vista is his other desktop, my dad is slowly learning (when hes in a good mood to learn) vista, oddly, i use it more then him and its about 2 weeks old.
theaperson, what brand machine is it, we have the a6303 w-p no major problems soo far accept its got insomnia, (after 5 minutes on screensaver it will come back to active desktop and maybe 1 minute in sleep, i have to physically turn off monitor or else its always on all night) if you are having probems with vista now, wait for service pack and updates to be released to see if that cures the problems.
