Go try out the new beta of Vuze, the new streaming video/Torrent P2P service. The videos are of far, far superior quality to Youtube, on a par with Stage6's videos. The amount of content on there is on par with Stage6 prior to its close down, and the interface is far superior. Like Stage6, all videos are easily downloadable with the click of a button.

Actually, I downloaded bit torrent today, because the advice was "download movies that would take hours in a few minutes"
as soon as I tried to dl a game my computer almost completely froze up,five minutes wait after a click for a page to load.The bit torrent eta of dl completion was 8 hours!
I had to uninstall.
Any ideas?

You know in most browsers you can just type in the main keyword and it will come up, right? Typing 'Vuze' into the address bar should bring it up automatically, just as typing 'wrongplanet' should get you here.

As for that claim that you can download full movies in minutes, that's bull for most people. Perhaps if you're on ADSL2+ or living in America or Japan, but not for most people in Australia. As for me, only ADSL1 is available here as I apparently live in a 'country' town according to Telstra (Western Sydney, 50 minutes east of Sydney. 8 hours for a movie download seems reasonable to me, at our speeds.
