When does colonization start? Regular trips? Oh, man...I so want to go to Mars, that would be absolutely awesome. I read the article last night on here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/co ... eheadlines

I was so happy last night. And now I really really really want to go and work for NASA or the European equivalent, so I can start making really cool discoveries like this.

I think regular trips are probably still a long way off. Very interesting that they found water though, certainly merits more research but I don't think they will be actually landing people there any time soon.

I know, I was merely remembering all the sci-fi I read as a kid where Mars was colonized. And I'd like that. It'd be fun I think. Plus, nice to know if we do totally *screw* this planet we have backup.

Is there any word when there will be water on earth? As it is, it doesn't seem quite habitable yet.

Awesome. Now I know I can fuel my interplanetary jacuzzi.
