I ordered my computer with a single hard drive (one terabyte, by the way) but it shows that I have two. One's called "HP (C:)" and the other is called Factory_Image (D:).

My noob guess is that it's not an actual physical drive but a partition of C: with the manufacturer's factory setting on it that I can access in the event of a crash or something.

Its one hard drive, but it has 2 partitions, one is the recovery partition, which is for reloading windoz, the other is for running windoz.

Your noob guess is correct ! !! Check the manual, prolly a CD for details. A terabtyte is quite impressive ! !!
