Anyone Going to the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) 2008?

I've taken part in brain scanning studies before, and I think that working in a brain-scanning lab looks fascinating. But I'm interested to know what you neuroscientists do all day when you're not scanning people, analyzing scans or chasing up volunteers.
I guess most of the rest of your time is spent reading research papers, right?
And do you need to do any programming?
And what sort of labs did you work in before you started your PhD, given that your first degree was in biology?
