Very computer dumb here *raises hand .

Once apon a time, I think..... I set the computer to hibernate when I wasn't using it...it seems to be set at about 5-15 min...or else this was just built into the computer . Question is, how I can I change this to a long time when I want to watch a movie or something . There are some books on audio that I want to listen to but keep "timing out" . I am on a HP running Windows XP .

and while I'm here...

every time I log on it says INVALID BOOT, but my computer seems to be running ok and it's been saying that for a year or more . What's that about ?

(Anyone interested in down loading free books or listening to them in audio version, I just posted a link on my blog...)

What I do is just move the mouse occasionally, it seems to prevent this.

Ok, right click your desktop and click properties. A window pops up.

Click the tab that says screensaver. If you have one set, make the time before it comes on longer.

If you don't have one set and its a power save feature, click power, which is at the bottom, and set the time to monitor shuts off to be longer.

All done!
