Alright if I install Windows 98SE on a Primary Hard Disk in FAT32 and put 2000 on a secondary hard disk in NTFS will it work. And will it give me the OS choice.

I'm doing this on old computer.

I've never heard of anyone attempting this and am curious as to why you want to, but as always Google is your friend.

This guide looked plausible on cursory examination.

Theoretically yes, have never tested it though. It works if you use separate partitions on the same disk, so on different disks it should be the same way.

It will only work if both disks are present during both installs. You will need to install 98se first though. I do prefer to use a boot manager with more features such as Boot Magic 8. Works for me...

It could work, but you'll probably need a boot manager if Win2k doesn't have one.

fat 32 just won't see anything on the ntfs partitions, but it should work fine
I had win 95 and NT with 98 running on separate partitions

NT, 2000, XP, Vista all have boot managers that will recognize other versions of windows when you install them

Why didn't you put 98SE and 2000 in a virtual machine? I mean your not going to be using them for 3D games or something like that?

Well if you decide to go the virtual machine route I guess XP as your host OS or something like say Ubuntu :d.

How much RAM does that computer have by the way? If it's below 256MB RAM the virtual machine idea won't work it seems.

i don't believe a 750Mhz AMD Athlon w/ 512MB of memory can run virtual machine. Even my 1.5Ghz Athlon XP 1700 w/ 640MB Memory wouldn't cut it in a virtual machine.
