Last week I ordered a 8GB Sandisk U3 Flash drive from amazon. When I first used it this afternoon it installed as a CD drive and a Removable Disk. If I try to make a folder or file in either section it says that it cannot create it and that it "cannot find the file specified".If i look at the properties of either section, they say free- 0 kb and used-0kb meaning it is empty. Also, the U3 launchpad is not found and does not launch. Does anyone know why this is happening and how i can fix it?
PS.I have already tried looking for new drivers, but it does not need them to work with xp.

I use mine as a removable disk. I ignore the part where it says it is a CD. Sounds broke to me.

Oh one of those that you can easily get apps for? I bought a 2GB one when I went to the USA last year. Since the Ubuntu Linux distribution is my primary OS, those apps are pretty much useless. U3 is just a proprietary thing, instead of something like: http://www.portableapps.com

The Ubuntu Linux Distribution OS is a very good Windows alternative!
