Help with Ubuntu Themes

I am right now looking at all the neat eye candy for GNOME and I've downloaded some. Afterward's extracting the tar.z file on the desktop. Where do I go from there?

You may copy the contents of the tar.gz to /home/yourusername/.themes

However, there is a much easier way:

Go to the themes dialog, then to "install theme"

If that doesn't work, go to personalize
Then to either controls or window border (depends on what you are installing) and drag the tar.gz file in there.
