So I'm trying to install windows (this has happened with both Vista and the current build of the Win7 beta), and the installer hangs before it even finishes loading... I have a Gigabyte GA-945GCM-S2C motherboard and an Intel c2d E7200 processor on this build. Is there anything I may need in order to actually get this to work? I've been wanting to try out the Windows 7 beta, but haven't been able to get it up and running...

Does your computer meet minimum system requirements? You need 1GB RAM 1GHz processor and about 16GB hard drive space. Once that has been met, I would consider into looking at the RAM and seeing if it's failing. Or if the processor is being kept cool or a surge in power from the power supply
