I just switch it off completely - don't have any problems. The major problem I get is usually trying to boot INTO Windows. Why have the feature if you can't get in? (inc. Safe Mode, when it fails)

Is this so it can use 'last known good configuration' or whatever it's called? That never works. Actually, when I end up with that screen, either Windows can start normally, or nothing works and I have to get it to boot from the CD.
