It's not intended to be useful to you, it's intended to be neutral to you and beneficial to others. I remember back in the day when SETI was running on everyone's screensaver. We all thought it was pretty cool, but I'll probably contribute my comp downtime to a more useful project.

Have been processing SETI:home since it went to BOINC in a number of machines still haven't found the Borg collective yet :(

I've just started up BOINC again, exclusively working on The Clean Energy Project. If i'm going to use a hundred watts of electricity crunching numbers, it should be for more efficient solar panels.

Wait a second. I seem to have BOINC manager on my desktop. Does it come pre-installed on debian lenny or maybe I installed it a long time ago and forgot I installed anything.

Maybe I'll open and press some buttons to see what it does. :wink:

I have BOINC running about a dozen of projects, LHC and SETI included.
