I'd run defrag in wine just to watch it.

We need a club.

Since I am third poster I guess I am member number three. ForsakenEagle is number 2 and computerlove is fan number 1 and president for life.

markestrat is a program that I used at my previous career, a simulator, very simple but I loved it

I do not like defragging my disk, I once had a disk failure hours after defragging a disk which had been allowed to fragment for about a year or so. Just be careful sometimes the intense disk operation and movement of the heads can wreck the drive.

I used to do regular defrags every 2.5 years back on Win98. I now use Linux, and no longer need to bother. 8)

Yes, I do miss watching the defrag. Almost as much fun as watching a front loading washer in action.

This is really going to piss you guys off. The new gen of HD (solid state) not only do not need defragging but this shortens their lifespan
