My obsession is robot and little machine-invention-thingie building. I was curious to see if anyone else here was interested, so, what the title asks.

I was involved in a First Robotics Competition regional - as my team's photographer.

I'm fascinated by robots but all my attempts to get involved with a robot building project have failed despite my being very skilled in electro mechanical engineering.

i used to be a great fan of Robot Wars when it was on the BBC but it doesn't seem to be so good since it went commercial :(

robot wars, that brings back memories. I just did a wikipeida search and wow, they're still at it for live audences. Is that what you mean by not so good? I hope not because I'm now thinking about going to one.

I suspect going to the live event may still be good I just find it very annoying when the program stops to be told to buy brand X when I am jumping up and down in my living room yelling Pit! Pit! Pit!

Live events are fun :)
