I have always liked (TOS) The Changeling, also The Corbanite Maneuver, The Menagerie (both parts together) and Obsession.

I think that the TNG episodes involving Reginald Barkley can be identified with by the regulars in this forvm.

One of my favourite episodes from the original series was The Cloud Minders. I was intrigued by the theme of class warfare as portrayed by the dwellers of the cloud city who lived in a world of art and aesthetic beauty, and the miners who were deemed to be unable to appreciate such qualities.
I’ve got strong opinions on ideas such as social class and perceived abilities of people. The episode may not be amongst most people’s favourites. However, Kirk speaks out for egalitarianism and the episode does feature one of the most capitvating women ever seen on Star Trek, Droxine, played by Diana Ewing.

I think the episode is called In the Cards from DS9. Jake and Nog trade and barter with many people to acquire a rare Willie Mays baseball card for Jake's father, Cpt Sisko. The card is included in a an auction lot, and the winning bidder will only trade the card for a certain item. Well that certain item can only be obtained if they trade services for someone and so on. Eventually gets them into hot water, but things work out.

I know only TNG. My favourite episodes it's, I think "The inner light", "The schizoid man", "Data's day" and "The most toys". Those last three mostly because of Data who's my favourite Star Trek character - oh, I must edit my last post in the thread about photos of favourite film characters, I've just realized I didn't place there Data :D

This struck a major chord with me.

I don't watch it any more, but it used to be on every day after school when I was in my early teens, and provided much needed escape.

Any of the Data/Lor episodes were good too, for obvious reasons.

The ones I hated were when Dr. Crusher was replaced by that withered old prune. That really upset me.

That was season 2 of TNG when the old prune was in it.

Yeah. "In the Cards" is a good episode. With more than a little tongue in cheek, methinks!

My favourite episode is Emergence, from The Next Generation. It isn't talked about much and it's completely insane, but I saw it for the first time when I was six and that kind of kooky hyper-surrealism is great when you're introduced to it as a kid.
My favourite Star Trek movie is The Voyage Home, 'cause it's just a lot of fun.
