Wow, just watched a movie called "Lagaan." Made in India. I haven't enjoyed a movie so much in a long time. Guess it fits the category known as a Feel Good movie.

Southland Tales was really trippy, but amazing.

I just watched Planet Terror and Death Proof back to back. Love me some Grindhouse.

I saw 30 Days of Night last week, and it was great, but really bloody (as you might guess).

the movie i last saw was metropolis. the movie was generally crazy and eye opening. i actually forgot it was a silent movie whilst watching it.

oh, yeah...i recently watched the philadelphia story again and love jimmy stewart twice as much now.

last movie i saw in the theatre was michael clayton and, though i was yawning a lot, thought it was an entertaining flick. it was like they were weaving a loose braid and in the end the braid tightened up and was tied shut.

Everything's Gone Green - kind of an out of the way movie that me and one of my friends found on Pay Per View when I was kicking it at his place. Funny as hell though, no joke - kinda dry and intelligent humor though.

Yeah, I felt that way about Session 9 - one of my buddies was hyping that at work. Not a bad movie, worth a one type through, but that's about all I'd give it.

My roommate was just telling me he saw the 3D version of it and said it was nuts. I can't say I've ever been two a 3D movie to date so it may be well worth it just for that (let alone seeing it at its current technological progression).

I saw the 1993 TV movie And the Band Played On at school.
It's about when AIDS was first being noticed.
It is very tense and very beautiful at the same time.
Everyone laughed during Steve Martin's scenes and clapped very hard at the end of the movie.
Sir Ian McKellen is in it for all you Lord of the Rings fans.
He plays a San Fransisco gay rights advocate.
