I really need to sit down and try to watch The Wire - I've started it about four times now, but lose interest. It's odd, because I loved Homicide:LOTS...

But to keep the thread on topic, I love Dexter. One of the best shows in a long while. Currently getting through season two and eagerly awaiting the DVDs of season one...

Is it sick that we spent the whole weekend in our pj's watching each and every episode of Dexter's first season?????

Or perhaps it is sick that I cannot stop watching it! I love it:)

I just recently started watching Dexter. Great show, but I was a little disturbed at how sympathetic I felt towards the cold-blooded serial killer...

i loved it, i watched the whole thing (both seasons) in a week or two. i loved the character although i thought there were a few unnecessary things in the second season and there were a few things that bothered me but overall i really enjoyed it.

CBS will begin showing episodes on February 17th,
to fill up air time because of the writer's strike.

I read that. The episodes will be heavily edited to take out "inappropriate" stuff for TV. They're gonna have to replace a lot of words with beeps, especially with Deb's dialogue.

Anyone else still following Dexter?

Between the moment I first posted and now, I have fully caught up and even hosted my post wedding shindig (we married in another country) as a Dexter themed event:) was awesome:)

I love this show. Season 2 just finished here in Blighty, and I finally managed to see the final episode after missing it when it was on FX last year.

This show (along with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) has restored my faith in the goggle box. Roll on Season 3!

I like how he keeps on interacting with other psychopaths, as at first sight they appear very similar to him, but in the end, it shows that they're the worst people for him to be around.

I've seen it all now (I downloaded the third season as that's not out here).

Just a note: Dexter is from Showtime, not HBO (same thing though basically). Yeah I could really relate to some of Dexter's qualities on the show... Some people thing I'm a bit of a psychopath in real life too  I watched the first 5 episodes, but got bored because the plot was waning. They missed a few opportunities to make things interesting. Did you finish watching the first season? I want to know if it turned out good.

I watched half of the first season and the entire second season in the last 2 days, and you have to know that it gets a million times better. I have 3 more seasons to watch, and the sixth is starting in October. Don't have Showtime, but I can watch it online somewhere. It's quickly become one of my most favorite shows, and I can't stop watching it. I love Dexter Morgan, and see a lot of him in myself. I wish I had someone like Lumen.
