They should ban that commercial for attempted subliminal advertising!

There's nothing subliminal about it! People are very aware of what that commerical means and represents from watching. It's rote learning/conditioning by repetition of words and imagery.

Lately I've been highly annoyed by any commerical with Beyonce or Mary J Blige in it. That immensely irriating Beyonce cmmerical for Direct TV is one of the reasons why I went with digital cable and not Direct. If they want to make obnoxious commericals, then they don't get my money.

Now the brand new commercials from Marriot Residence Inn (I usually see them on CNN). I wouldn't say they are stupid or annoying, but what the hell do those acrobatic stunts have to do with the hotel experience? I don't get the message.

I hate car commercials where they shout at you the whole time.

I found a really annoying commercial on YouTube with a single father who brings a little kid to the grocery store who screams and throws food off the shelves. Then at the end it says "use condoms" I don't like the message either.

I find these kind of commercials annoying too. I mean do people in America really have to sue a doctor that has made a small mistake, or has attempted but failed to save a loved one's life and becomes very apologetic? I think all those people care about is money.

Any noisy ads that consist of somebody shouting at us to buy their product will annoy the heck out of me. I also don't like ads that make either women or men look like they are really stupid eg. there used to be one where the father was helping change the baby's nappy and the mother spoke to him really patronisingly about how useless he was. Guess who won't get any more help with the baby?

I also hate that brand new KIA commercial with that man sexually dancing inside the KIA car dealer. It was playing that 80s song "She's a maniac...maniac...etc". It was so whack.

oh that's simple...it's a local Time-Warner cable commercial which advertises those cable boxes that you can pause live programs then come back to them later. It went like this:

A dad is in the middle of watching a football game, then his son approaches him and asks for help on his homework. At first, the dad thinks about saying 'not right now', but then he gets mental images of the consequences of that response. He envisions his son failing class, then running away from home, then hitching a ride with a bunch of hobos on a train, who wind up chasing chickens for food. Then we come back to reality, and the father says...

"No son of mine is gonna be chasing chickens with hobos!", and pauses the game, while the son has a total 'Huh?!' look on his face.

I dunno why, but that commercial ticks me off the most!

There has been a commercial on lately that shows two pickup trucks being destroyed. I find it senseless to just demolish something of such value, for no real reason. In general I don't like commercials that rip things up, or demonstrate violence, or destruction.

I'm probably the only one but I hate that E*surance "What I like about you" commercial. It's like they tried to place sentimental value on the cartoon that's only been in about 7 commercials.

Commercials for weight loss stuff. Why?

The "before" photos always show the person in unflattering clothes and no makeup. Then in the after shots they're all made-up and wearing clothes that were probably tailored to make them look even better on TV.

It's like...what? A larger person can't be beautiful? (I'm very skinny btw)

I know a large woman in my choir and she is GORGEOUS just the way she is! I know there's health issues but some people can be large and still healthy.
