Persepolis is already out
and will slightly expand on January 25th, 2008.

Red State won't be coming out for a while.

The two Death Note movies, and that's all I'm really waiting for.

I saw Juno last night with my sister. It was an excellent movie, my sister also loved the film. I haven't seen a teen oriented flick as entertaining and moving as this one for a while, perhaps the last one I can remember is Ghost World. It's good fare for the entire family.

Not true. It has actual sets rather than almost all green-screens.

Proof here.

But it is from Zach Snyder, the director of 300.

Oh lovely. I really wish that Terry Gilliam was still attached to this.

I do want to see the new Morgan Spurlock documentary (he did "Super Size Me") "Where In the World is Osama Bin Laden?" (apparently it does exactly what is says on the tin). A friend of mine went to Sundance (he works for an indie newspaper in Providence) and said it was awesome.

if only terry gilliam directed Watchmen, all those trademark burst-into-scene shots and crooked camera angles, it would be wonderful!

i think watchmen will be a lot less dependent on computer generated effects, they actually built sets for the movie, but i hear that the comic book about the pirate that is being read in Watchmen will be completely animated.

The comic will be in the special features of the DVD. XD

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Zach Snyder is extremely passionate about it, he seems to get what made the book so great, and he's intent on making sure that the film kicks ass and is true to the book. Gilliam would be grand but I think that Snyder's a good man for the job, too, even if "300" is a totally different movie.

And, actually, in "Where In The World is Osama Bin Laden" is supposed to be a huge letdown that isn't about Bin Laden at all. Read this: http://www.aintitcool.com/node/35355

Well I want to see more than five of course, but off the top of my head

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull-Most anticipated
Rambo-Hell yeah
Iron Man-Another hell yeah
Prince Caspian-Looks even better than TLTWATW
The Dark Knight-Heath Ledger's last hurrah. :( I'm sure it will be a great movie.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something that should have been in the top 5, but I can't think right now.

You know what? I think I will see Prince Caspian, if only because Eddie Izzard is doing Reepicheep's voice.

I can't even imagine Hollywood making five movies in just one year that I'd actually want to see
