Nope. I like Sliders. Just not best of all.

FFS, why are there so many more Trekkies than Whovians?

For the record, I didn't include Sliders for a few reasons: one, I didn't think about it at the time, and two, I didn't think that many people liked it in comparison to other TV series.

Twilight Zone
is an anthology program, so I didn't include it, as I don't think it has any other connecting thread except maybe the title music and the narration. Ditto The Outer Limits.

Are you upset by the way your poll has turned out?

I don't think when we mention a show not on the list its a criticism, just an addition to personal favorites...

In that case...

Smallville anyone?

I'm more upset at the fact that Trekkies outnumber Whovians, that's all.

I think its a geographical thing. Where I live, in Canada (and I think its the same all over North America) Dr.Who is NEVER on TV and I have like a zillion channels. I get the weirdest things, but no Dr.Who, sadly. I've always heard about it but mostly from people in the UK.

I have a thing nowadays for getting shows on Boxset and watching them that way. I've done that with all my new favorites. I just got the last season of Battlestar Galactica (3) and I'm so happy I'm watching it this way. It is uninterrupted (ads), good quality and it can be 'novelized' in a way.

One day I will do this with Dr.Who

I forgot to make my point...

Maybe this is why the Whovians lost to the Trekkies. Lack of air time in North America

The X-Files hands down. I've been trying to finish the series before the movie is in theaters this July.

I also love a show called Roswell. It's a mixture of sci-fi and drama and it's a really good blend. Anyone else a fan?

The last two seasons are the best, they really take the whole show full circle 8)

I'm been watching Babylon 5 sequentially the last few months, I'm almost finished season Four now and I have to say it is has some of the greatest writing I've ever seen on television. The sets and design is very innovative too. Some of the monologues or lines are so good, I think they could make a book of quotes from the show.

Even shows I love like Star Trek, even while its themes and content are so interesting,it still often lacks that truly elevating and insightful writing at times.
