brilliant. I couldn't stop grinning at that. And the bit where he was in drag was an eye-opener, to say the least
Heath Ledger's Joker has me totally re-energised about the character - but also terribly sad, because we'll never get to see a performance of this calibre from Heath ever again. In any case, this Joker has eclipsed Mark Hamill's version of the character, and has certainly beaten Jack Nicholson's "Jack Nicholson in white make-up" Joker, because it was such a high-energy, demented vision of everybody's favourite killer clown.
I will hold my hands up and say that I was unsure about how well this version of the Joker would hold up, but I can safely say I've been proved wrong.
Best film I've seen this year, by a landslide.
Iron Man is still #2, though...
