ALL?????? Wow you downlode more than me!! !! ^_^

I mean all the unlicensed anime that I'm following. Not all the anime that's available. Even I'm not that obsessive. :D I'm having a hard time finding the time to watch all the anime that I like, plus I've started to follow some live action Chinese series as well.

I need to find a way to retire so that I can stay home get caught up on my anime watching.

Heh I'm probably bordering on that obsesssive. :) I have SO much stuff that I've got and never even watched yet that I could probably watch anime nonstop for a week or two and still not watch anything I"ve already seen.

I've never watched anything from China...where would I get some of that to check out?

try www.d-addicts.com

They have a lot of shows, not just from China, but also from Korea and Japan. A work-related acquaintance is downloading a couple of series from there for me on his high-speed connection. Chinese Paladin is one of them, I hear it's good, but I haven't seen any episodes yet.

I just finished watching the first four episodes (out of 40) of "Chronicles of the Heavenly Dragon" and it's pretty enjoyable so far. (Although the special effects for the "lighning martin" were cheesy.) These are made on a budget, and obviously so, but they are fun. Kind of like a soap opera with lots of Kung Fu and special effects.

I'm also watching something called "Proud Twins" (Although I think it's really the sequel, "Proud Twins II").

I probably got the torrents for these off of www.mininova.org.

The show I'd really recommend, Tian Xi Di Yi ("Number One In the World" or "Hero") is unfortunately not available subtitled. I'm hoping that sooner or later one of the fansub groups will decide to work on it.

Personally I prefer manga, but that is part of my preference for books compared to TV or film.

My favourite series right now are xxxholic, Reservior Choronicle Tsubasa and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Anime is one of my aspie interests, as there is always at least one series that I am obsessing over until I find out everything I can about it.

Other series I like/liked in the past are Slayers, Fruits Basket, (I sort of lost interest after not being able to find the next volume and not finding any sites with good, up-to-date information about what was going on) Card Captor Sakura and Azumanga Daioh.

I also liked watching Witch Hunter Robin, Gundam SEED, Yu-Gi-Oh and the longest lasting obsession I have had is Digimon 02, as I still look for fanfic for it.

I allso have a lot more manga than I do anime, but with me it has more to do with pricing than any paticlar preference - anime is INCREDIBLY expensive in England >.<

Actaully, if anything, I probably prefer anime to manga, but not much of a difference.

Yeah, I find it's easier to just rent the DVDs if they are available, you get better quality anyway. But my obsessive nature means that I can't wait until a series is licensed to watch stuff. Like Bleach, for example, why in the world hasn't that license been picked up yet?

And there are some great series that may never be licensed in the U.S. I'm a big fan of Keroro Gunsou and Gokoujo Seitokai, and I don't know if either of those titles will ever be licensed.

Alayna:

Azumanga Daioh is great, have you seen any of the Yotsuba manga by the same creator? I've enjoyed the first couple of volumes. The silly humor is similar.

Funaho:

The live action Chinese series I was talking about, "Chronicles of the Heavenly Dragon," can be found at http://217.172.47.136/~jem/index.htm (It turns out that this is really "Demi-Gods and Semi Devils." It's annoying when they change the titles for no reason, it really confuses things. Anyway, I'm up to episode seven and it's still pretty fun.

Personally, I actually prefer to be able to pick out decent series before they get licensed. Mabey if its reelly good, I mite get the DVDs after licensing so I dont have to watch it on computer, but Ive never done that yet with a series Ive downloded.

Also, in the words of Yupa,

Quote:
You have all GOT to see
GUNDAM X!! !!

Well, the visuals are nothing particularly special, kinda average, but the story is seriusly addictive.

I have a few favorites like Melody of Oblivion, Soukyuu No Fafner, Naruto [Japanese Only], Noir, Haibane Renmei, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, You're Under Arrest!, etc. etc.

All the unlicensed stuff I have [the 120+GB] I still have yet to watch. I'm soo behind.
