Haven't seen anything at the cinema since Paul WS Anderson's remake of "Death Race", which I thought was great for what it was.

I don't think I'm seeing anything until Eagle Eye, which looks fairly entertaining.

I'm also really looking forward to Max Payne, and Saw V, which I'm actually attending the premire of.

Recently I think the most recent flick I've seen for the first time was, oddly enough, another Paul WS Anderson flick, his first one, "Shopping". It was a little less action packed and more of a decent character drama. Shocking because this was the all around debut of the guy who would go on to do nothing but genre adaptations or remakes like Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon, and Resident Evil. All of which are decent at the least. The only dissapointing flick from that guy was AvP, which really wasn't that bad. Can't believe he gets so much crap.

I rented Once and watched it yesterday.

It is a very good movie and very naturalistic.

Looking forward to:
Blindness
Choke
W.
Changeling
Zach & Miri Make a Porno

Watched Death Race two weeks ago I think. Saw Righteous Kill today. And plan to watch Burn After Reading tomorrow.

The past few days I have watched Return of the Pink Panther, The Party, and The Magic Christian,
I haven't watched a Peter Sellers movie in a few years and needed a good laugh.

you want a good laugh, Spudnik? try watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail.... i swear it's the only movie out there that's freaking hilarious from the start of the opening credits!

Midnight Express - 9/10

I was pretty impressed, didn't know they were making movies this raw or immersive back in the 70's (the use of thematic devices had a lot more genius as well than anything I've seen recently).

I'd go with the film, "Cube:Zero" I don't think this film series will ever be fully explained unless they do one more film which tends to give a more thorough explanation of the mythos regarding the series and all..
