Dune, it was my first time seeing the movie and I was quite disapointed but not very surprised. David Lynch did well in incorporating ideas from the original Frank Herbert book into the film...but the acting was bad and the dialogue was a bit off.

Point made...the book is MUCH BETTER! Also, the film only covers the original Dune book, while the books have the Butlerian Jihad, the background of the three major houses, ext.

I saw Journey to the center if the earth the other day we watched it out of 3D as cheaper and so It didnt scare my younger brother.

Shortbus and Brand upon the Brain. I gave up on Shortbus after awhile, because I find plots hard to follow. But plot doesn't really matter so much in Brand Upon the Brain, so I really enjoyed that one.

007 QoS seems to be a mixed bag to fans & critics........

Trading Places 5/6 (great classic movie)
Leone's FAF$M 5/6
El Cid 4/6 (Ben Hur was generally more fun)
Breakfast at Tiffanys 4/6 (overrated)
Legend of the Lost 2/6 (borderline turkey)
Magnificent 7 3.5/6 (not as "magnificent" as I remembered.....)

:D TWILIGHT!! !! !! !! !! !! !! :D they did a phenomanal job in translating the book to the new movie, though James and Co. were a little different from how I saw them.
oh & The Dark Knight. 2 words: freaking awesome! :twisted:
