Force Lightning ...

Poor Anakin, he never got to master it because he became mechanical so soon after going over to the dark side.

Any force lightning on his part would short circuit him - and in the end, it did. That's why it had less effect on Luke than on Vader.

He could use the force in a different manner to avoid that. Also. when Vader was getting hit palpatine was using full force as he was scared as f**k. When he was killing luke he was torturing him while killing him-hence lower blasts

oh. for me: Battle Meditation. Being able to command and influence a fleet and help it sounds awesome.

Where is force pull? Mine is force pull.

Force Healing, perfect for any saberist.

I am pretty sure that Vader was unable to use lightning due to the fact that it would backfire and short circuit his life support systems, that is atleast what it says in Wookieepedia.

I guess I like force choke, I have been using it in KoTOR2 in a recent replay, making enemies being choked for several seconds so I can fight with little struggle or fight another. I have liked it in Jedi knight Academy where it can be developed to be able to just throw people around. and if it is on the same bases of being able to throw people around, it is a favirout technique of mine in The Force Unleashed. Just as long as it isn't as lame as it was in episode 4, but maybe like Lukes in Eppisode 6.

Due to the names of the powers, shouldn't this technically be in the Video Games section ?


Force Lightning/ Mind Trick

Did not choose choke because it is technically useless against droids...

I read somewhere (I guess it was the fact files) that Vader can't do force lightning since he has no hands anymore.

One hand is still able to channel the force due to his use of force choking in the trilogy

I believe that it was fairly effective against General Grevious (though technically he's not a droid).

Was it Mace Windu who did that - to make him cough? Does anyone know where/when it happened?

One of the few scenes I have seen of the animated series set beffore the episode three movie. Aparently when General Grevious attacked Corrosant, he landed himself to take Palpatine, he practicly breezed through a couple of the Jedi and got palpatine, but ended up in a close match with Windu. Because he had to leave he got aboared a ship to be lifted up, but as he was hanging out of the ship Windu managed to damage his lung or something. Basicly soon after getting palpatine on his ship is where episode three starts.

Also couldnt force choke be likend to just griping with the force, the chokeing is usualy just as confined area of grabing.
