I also love the tomboyish girls in anime. I can relate to them, like Haruhi from Ouran (though she's more of a crossdresser, I like how she's one of the boys, like I am :D)

Wow jocundthelilac, I didn't realize you liked anime too! It's great that we share the same taste in characters! :) Even though I'm a girly-girl, I admire and look up to tomboyish anime characters like Utena Tenjou and Lady Oscar because they have traits I wish I had - bravery, strength, suaveness and charisma. I like to imagine that they'd be my friends if they were real, and that they'd stick up for me and cheer me on. Thoughts like that make me feel encouraged and inspired.

I like anime a lot and have done since the days of Pokemon and Digimon. I can also relate to a lot of anime characters who are left out of things, like Iceland from Hetalia.

Yeah... Unlike Brock Samson, I'd like to make friends with Doctor Girlfriend myself... (baboon uterus notwithstanding)

Data, Spock, Tuvok... in other words, people who generally ask nothing of you and don't take offense easily and get no joy from humiliating others.

Daria was cool. She prefers to intellectualy look at a situation, and be herself.

Zelgodess from The slayers. :P I love his mysteriousness, and magic spells.

Some that come to mind...

Hurley, Charlie, Juliet and Locke from LOST
Dr. House and Wilson from 'House'
Jim and Pam from 'The Office'
Kramer and George from Seinfeld
Kelso from That 70's Show

All seem like interesting and/or cool people.

Luna Lovegood. I may hate the Harry Potter franchise, but I really like Luna.

The Addams Family.

They are all unique and they don't let anyone change that.
