We just watched Black Swan on DVD. Very scary movie that lets you see through the eyes of a mentally ill person. On top of the famous lesbian scene everyone's talking about, there's a really hot female masturbation scene.

Very well done, Duncan Jones definitely has more movies to be directed ahead of him.

Duncan Jones' Moon is my second favorite movie of all time. I watched Source Code yesterday, and while the concept was good, the movie felt too short and the script wasn't written as well as Moon's script. Plus, the guy they got to do the music(because Clint Mansell was too busy) made a really unfitting generic soundtrack that annoyed the hell out of me. The movie deserved minimalist music. Clint Mansell is king at that. John Murphy and Cliff Martinez are also really good at that. What we got was every action movie soundtrack put together.

Today I watched Black Dynamite. It was a brilliant and hilarious spoof of 70's Blaxploitation movies :D

We rented Temple Grandin, which we watched last night. It is without a doubt the finest movie about autism I've ever seen, and it at times choked me up.

Paul

Very entertaining movie. Some scenes were fairly predictable, but it was an enjoyable experience, overall.

I watched Legion and My Name is Khan last night.

Legion was dire, but compulsory viewing for me. I'm a big fan of angels, not the sweet and fluffy kind though.

I can't decide what to make of My Name is Khan. It seemed like too many different topics to cover in one film. And it was an odd combination of Bollywood and American. But it was still worth watching.

The Conspirator

Ending is obvious, but sad.

good audience interaction made the movie more fun.

Silver Saddle - a very late, and relatively unknown, 1978 spaghetti western directed by Lucio Fulci (who made, to great audience acclaim, Zombie Flesh-Eaters the following year). Silver Saddle isn't a bad film by any means and it is moderately entertaining but the plot is predictable and doesn't include any surprises or novelties. Worth a watch once, I think.

Last week, we watched I Love You Philip Morris. Staring Jim Carrey as real life gay con man with a genius level intellect, Steven Russel, and Ewon McGregor as the man of his dreams, Phillip Morris. It's such an incredible movie that I couldn't believe it was true, till I looked it up on Wikipedia afterward.

We just finished watching The Town. It was an exceptionally good movie, with great performances by Ben Affleck and John Ham.
