I searched and searched and did not find a similar topic, so . . .

Anyone else a fan of Scrubs on NBC?

Favorite characters? (Mine's Dr. Cox)

Storylines you liked?

Is Ted an Aspie, or just weird?

Let's discuss this hilarious and heartwarming show!

Yes, majorly.

I like different characters in different ways at different points.
Cox-actor is interesting (seen in many other shows/movies), his character here is quite multi-faceted. Ted's a hapless underdog one roots for (can't hazard guess about whether a person, real or imaginary, fits a dx). Todd's a macho lunk, but he's amusingly peculiar as well. Turk-I like it when Kelsoe calls him Turkleton. Carla-like it when she tells everyone what to do, esp. since she's often right. J.D.-his loopy thought-processes are much like mine. Elliot-her anxieties/hang-ups are much like mine (incl. the "talking to someone while one's in the bathroom" issue). Janitor-he's mean & scary, with occasional flashes of kindness. Kelsoe is unpleasant & whimsical. Then there's the various people who show up for a story arc...

Janitor is by far the best.... just for the fact they have avoided his name for like 5 seasons.... I also like how Troy follows janitor around like god.

My favorite character used to be Elliot in seasons 1-4, but she hasn't been quite the same. But it's probably realistic that she has more confidence as an attending.

One of the best moments IMHO is when Turk gets schooled on rap

But from a more neutral standpoint, the show is very clever in making you identify with a character. Everyone can find a common character trait in one of the main characters. When I think about it, I'm wondering how I could possibly identify with someone that has no idea who Jerome Bettis and Barry Bonds are.

Dr. Cox is my favourite, because watching him talk is just so entertaining.

I think JD could be an aspie-- he reminds me of me when he thinks sometimes.

I like Eliot when she and JD aren't dating-- I don't think the show needs that, and I like their friendship.

The only character I flat out don't like at all is Jordan.

He doesn't remind me of an Aspie socially (he gets along well with most people, goes out drinking, etc.) although now that I think of it, his only real true friend is Turk.

What really DOES remind me of an Aspie in JD, however, is his tendency to live inside his head. I think most or all of us do that a lot!

I get along well with most people, and I know other aspies that go out drinking a lot.

You know, I've changed my mind. Maybe JD really is an Aspie after all. Yes, he gets along well with most and goes out drinking, but he also doesn't usually know the right thing to say or blurts out inappropriate comments. Maybe that doesn't apply to all Aspies, but I know social awkwardness is common.

Well, this is all speculation anyway. Only a trained professional can make an official diagnosis, and usually only on real people and not fictional TV characters. It's fun to guess, though!

I really love this show. I'm a pretty big J.D. fan. I tend to drift off into my own world like he does (though not quite so entertainingly).

However, in terms of tv doctors I like best, I don't think you can beat House.

Reasons I love this show: snarkiness and Sarah Chalke's deliciousness, in no particular order. The show's lost something since most of the characters stopped being students and they started having babies out of desperation for plots but I still watch anyway for those two reasons.

Scrubs is very funny. I haven't seen any of this season though.

I'm all about the janitor. Jan Itor ;)
If you watch enough of the series you find out why Todd is the way he is.
As I type this, the google ad at the top of this page is telling me where I can sign up for healthcare jobs in my state. Silly google and its broken logic!
