Rocky V

Movies like Manos and Plan 9 are somewhat redeeming in their unintentional hilarity. Rocky V was just a travesty.

Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers.

Seemed to be a film containing three scenes consisting mostly computer graphics which were repeated for around 180 minutes.
The scene where the tree runs towards camera stopped me from sleep; i kept thinking 'haven't we seen this part before? Has the tape got stuck?'

The third part was also exceptionally boring ( you would think that i would learn from the previous experience, but at least i didn't venture to the cinmema for this epic.)
Seemed more like watching a computer game.
After the 'end' of the film it continued for another 60 minutes, showing further pointless 'endings.'

A let-down really, as i rather enjoyed the books when i was younger.

The Village.

If anyone can explain that film to me, I'll eternally be in your debt...

You've gotta remember though too - that was the 'bridge' book so yeah the content was all war largely and it was tough for them to really break up the monotony that well unless they wanted to break from the original story line and really peave off all the diehard Tolkien fans.

People trying to hide from humanity - in a nutshell. The moral of the story is no matter how far you think you can run from it you're still carrying that very nature in yourself and that even if you try to isolate and shelter your whole lives and families from it if anything its you and your family that pays the price in the end. The ideas of the movie feel like they're kinda on that old 17th and 18th century Melville gothic frame. As for how the ending works out, it is kinda powerful but its a little lame too in the sense that its a one-trick movie and its all based on that one trick so I can see how this movie would really annoy a lot of people in the Blaire Witch kind of way (personally though I though I think the M Night Shamaylan movie that annoyed me the most was Signs, couldn't get into that or the characters much at all).

I've been sad enough to purchase s**t films on DVD so far. The worst are the following below:

The Ring (Remake) - I was thinking at the time, , Why did I bother getting it on DVD and watching it??

White Noise - Pathetic in my opinion, why the hell I watched it I don't know.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Remake) - Boring. Pointless. Again this is my opinion.

Creep - Why? Good on paper, not really a good film in my opinion.

Don't worry, I got refunds on these. :)

I hate the movie version of Stephen King's "Thinner". I get REALLY FREAKIN creeped out when the man slices his hand open and puts blood in a pie. That scene always makes me feel sick. And even though i'm a big Balto fan, I really dislike 2 (Mainly because of Jenna's spirit being degraded and the absence of Star and Kaltag).

Never see "Evil Dead II," in that case. In that film, when Bruce Campbell's hand turns evil and tries to kill him, he cuts it off with a chainsaw then tries to shoot it with a shotgun while it crawls away. They don't directly SHOW it, but it's still a really sick moment in a really sick (if also hilarious) film.

So bad, I found it amusing.

There's probably tons, but the only one I can remember right now is Highlander 2. The first one was great, fantastic concept, cast and soundtrack. Then they took all that, threw it out, and decided to make a sequel so removed from the original that it might as well have been another film.

Will, The only good bit is with the skull and Ramirez.

This is a tricky question for me, since I am a fan of "bad movies". But this means the cheaply-made B-movies with low production values that are fun to watch because they are so bad. I am assuming this is not what you are looking for in this thread...

There are a few movies I've seen that were agonizing to watch:
- Showgirls
- Battlefield: Earth
- Highlander II: The Quickening
- Howard the Duck

Admittedly, I have seen all of them except Highlander II. I, too, am a fan of bad movies.

I wonder what percent of the Battlefield Earth viewers are Scientologists (the book was written by L. Ron Hubbard, and John Travolta, who was in that movie, practices that faith)

I don't know if I consider it bad, but Dancing at the Blue Iguana was a film I had mixed feelings about. The plot lines were depressing.

Sandra Oh was much better in Sideways and Gray's Anatomy.
